How We Started

We run another business, a restaurant. This is a classic target market for web designers and we have had a trail of design companies calling us trying to sell us web site design and hosting. The problem was always that the companies we talked to all lived on a different planet, we were regularly quoted upwards of £ 400.00 for a 2 - 4 page site with a cost of ONLY £40/month for hosting and maintenance. To a small business operating on a shoestring this was way out of our league, but still we wanted a web presence in the form of a basic, no frills web site.

The only option was to learn and do it ourselves!!! We trawled the net for hosting, bought the necessary books on HTML & CSS and of we went. Our first attempts were a bit hit and miss, but we now had a site and were getting visitors and with free hosting it hadn’t cost us a penny.

We have moved on a bit from then and believe can offer a high quality, low cost design and hosting solution for small businesses, clubs and individuals. At last a method of getting on the web without breaking the bank.

This site is in a unique colour scheme chosen by the customer, but gives a good example of  simple single cost e-commerce through PayPal. Also shows examples of pop out printer friendly pages.
